Little Jack Horner sat in a corner eating his Christmas pie, when along came a spider and sat down beside him and asked, “What makes you a good boy?” This question sends Jack on a journey through Nursery Rhyme Land to learn what it means to be good. Along the way he will cross paths with many familiar characters, and hear their ideas of what it means to be good. It is only when he meets Mother Goose herself that he learns the frightening truth from Romans 310 – 12, “As it is written There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who do good, no not one.” (NKJV) What is a boy to do when his main desire in life seems unattainable? Jack’s Journey is a one act play that is simple to stage and can be performed by Children’s, Youth, or adult groups or a combination of all three. Running time is approx. 50 minutes

We did this play as part of our Children's Drama program and it was not only fun to perform, but very well received. Cleverly written, this play contains humor that is can be appreciated by all ages, all while presenting a very strong Biblical message. Staging can be as simple or elaborate as your group desires, so it is perfect for drama groups of all levels. Highly recommended for churches, schools or theater groups looking for a fun, family friendly production. Cannot wait to do this show again.Product details
